J.R. Wolff has written numerous short stories, television pilots and just finished his first novel.

The story of his journey to a Syrian Druze village was recently featured by the Times of Israel, and can be read right here.

Earlier this year he left a secure job, packed a single bag, and hit the road.

He worked as a fisherman on the Sea of Galilee and most recently on an archaeological excavation in Jerusalem's Western Wall Tunnels.

J.R. is a California native. He has a degree from the University of Texas at Austin and also studied at the London School of Economics.
